No matter what your career goals are, chances are you need a high school diploma to achieve them. The GED® certificate is widely accepted as meeting secondary school graduation requirements.

GED® is for you if you want to:

• Receive a high school equivalency certificate

• Apply for admission to an educational or training institution

• Enter an apprenticeship program

• Qualify for employment

• Gain a promotion within your own organization  

Many colleges of applied arts and technology and universities accept satisfactory GED® scores as one factor in their assessment for admission as a mature student. However, the Ministry of Education cannot guarantee that the certificate will be accepted by employers, post-secondary institutions or trainers in every instance.
